- All persons that have purchased and paid an up-to-date membership to Fighting Center Joensuu Oy are considered members of Fighting Center.
- After the payment is received, a member is given a PIN code that allows access to the gym.
- During their membership period, a member can participate in the training sessions included in the membership they have purchased. Memberships entitle the member to participate in different groups of a set martial art. The memberships may include either a day or evening sessions of the group or all the training sessions of the group (regardless of time). The defining features of groups include age limits, but special groups may also be defined by other variables such as gender (e.g. groups meant for women). All sessions that start at 4.30 pm or later are considered evening sessions. All sessions that start prior to this are considered day sessions. To participate in an advanced class, it is expected that the participant knows the basics of the martial art in question. "All Combat Sports, All Training Sessions" membership allows a member to participate in all training sessions of all the advanced classes that the participant knows the basics of, and from which the participant is not disqualified due to e.g. age or gender restrictions. In addition to the coached training sessions, members that are 14 years old or older can train independently on gyms indicated whenever said gyms are not reserved for coached sessions or for other private use that has been announced beforehand.
- Fighting Center reserves the right to combine training groups when the number of participants in a single group is low. If groups are combined, all members that have a membership for any of the groups combined to one maintain their right to train in the new combined group.
- Memberships are valid for the time chosen when the membership purchase was made (e.g. 3 months, 6 months, 12 months). A member adheres to paying the membership costs for the whole duration of the membership.
- A membership can be paused due to a compelling reason. Such reasons include an injury or a work-related stay in other locality for over two week or more. A membership can also be canceled due to a compelling reason such as a permanent injury, illness, or a move to another locality. A member must contact the customer service of Fighting Center to pause or cancel their membership.
- The price of a membership does not change during a purchased membership period even if the member pays their membership in monthly installments.
- If a member fails to pay for an installment of their membership, Fighting Center will suspend their access code and the rights to participate in coached training sessions and train independently until the payments have been fulfilled.
- Fighting Center reserves the right to reserve individual gyms for private use and to cancel individual coached training sessions due to compelling reasons, such as public holidays and sudden illnesses. Such changes are announced as soon as possible. When possible, the coached training sessions are compensated e.g. with uncoached training shifts.
- Fighting Center reserves the right to update these terms. Significant changes are communicated to members as early as possible.
